This Privacy Policy explains how YouPage LLC, doing business as Page Behavior ("we", "us"), collects and uses information when you use pagebehavior.com and the Page Behavior service.
Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), language, time zone and preferences.
- Audit data: the URLs, sitemaps or HTML you submit and the audit results we generate.
- Usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited and log data, used for security, abuse prevention and analytics.
- Cookies: essential cookies for login and preferences, plus analytics and advertising cookies (Google AdSense, shown to signed-in users) where you allow them through our cookie banner.
How we use information
To provide and secure the Service, run your audits and notifications, send account emails, answer support requests, improve the product, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. If you opt in, we also send occasional product news, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Page Behavior, such as hosting (Hostinger), content delivery and security (Cloudflare, including Turnstile bot protection), email delivery (Google Workspace) and advertising (Google AdSense), or when the law requires it.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Audit history follows your plan's retention period. Unconfirmed accounts are deleted after a few days. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data from your account settings, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) you may have further rights, including objecting to processing or withdrawing consent. You can change cookie choices at any time from the cookie banner.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, login rate limiting and bot protection. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries, with appropriate safeguards.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16.
